Savandurga There is nothing called as the climbing rocks in the picturesque Savandurga hills, but when you visit the place you get to enjoy rock climbing at Asia's largest monolithic rock formation. Located in the Bagalkot district of North Karnataka in India, Badami was formerly called Vatapi. Badami Chalukyas had this place as its capital between 540 AD and 757 AD. This place is quite popular for its cave temples that are cut out of sandstone rocks that surround Agastya Lake. Three among the four cave temples are dedicated to deities of Hinduism and one temple is dedicated to Jainism. A flight of stairs within connects these cave temples to each other. The first temple is dedicated to Nataraja, the second and third cave temples to Lord Vishnu, and the fourth temple to Lord Mahavira the founder of Jainism. The Government of India has declared Badami as one of the heritage cities in India.

Sanjay Van is a city forest area which is located in South Delhi near Vasant Kunj. It is a densely wooded forest and is home to plenty of birds, making it a haven for nature lovers. It is stretched for over 3 sq. km and has multiple points of entry and exit. There is no entry fee and the forest is open on all 7 days. Visitors can take a stroll through the forest, especially during winters when the forest is at its thickest with vegetation. It is best to be dressed in full-length clothes in order to avoid being pricked by thorny bushes while taking a stroll.
